Windows And Doors Mystro is a manufacturer and distributor for custom-made windows, doors and patio doors. We work with residential, commercial, and institutional property owners and managers in the greater Montreal areas and the greater Toronto areas, that include Montreal, West Island, Laval, Southshore, North York and other surrounding communities.
A 100% local Quebec business, we are three entrepreneurs with cover 60 years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing and management. We take pride in contributing in our small way to the sustainable growth of a greener economy and communities in Quebec. All our materials are locally sourced from Quebec companies and our employees are hired locally.

Insulated Glass
At Mystro we offer 3 options for Insulated Glass:
Planilux
A high quality, clear annealed glass, manufactured by the float process, which produces a glass with a perfectly flat, parallel surface. It is the base substrate to which all high-performance coatings are applied.
Planitherm Lux
One of the best performing, low emissivity (low-e) glasses on the market. It optimizes the energy efficiency of windows through double and triple glazed panes.

When choosing your insulated glass, there are key glazing performance factors to consider in order to achieve the energy efficiency you are looking for.
Key Glazing Performance Factors
SHGC:
Total solar energy entering into the building. Value between 0 and 1. The lower the SHGC, the more efficient the glazing is in blocking solar entry.
LSG:
Light to Solar Gain (selectivity) Ratio between the visible light transmittance (VLT) and the Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC). The higher the LSG, the better the glazing is in reducing more solar energy than visible light
U-value:
Thermal Transfer Coefficient. Quantity of heat transmitted through the glazing due to the temperature difference between inside and outside. The lower the U-value, the better the thermal insulation performance.
Shading Coefficient:
(SC) SC = SHGC/0.87
Interlock System
All our windows are equipped with premium accessories that exceed the standard industry performance.
“Interlock” system
We use the new interlock system for our casement and awning window. This interlock system increases the load capacity from industry standard of 96lb to 148lb, and usage cycle from 8000 cycles to 32000 cycles.
High-performance SWISSPACER ULTIMATE spacer bar
Engineered in Switzerland, we use this spacer for its impressively low thermal conductivity (Lambda value) at the edge of the insulating glass. It also has outstanding Psi values and correspondingly low U-values for windows and façades. SWISSPACER ULTIMATE is one of the best warm edge spacer bars in the world according to the ift guidelines WA-17/1 and WA 08/3
